Khamenei describes Trump's threats as ridiculous and warns against any US military intervention in Iran.

Khamenei added that the Iranian people stand firmly against the war imposed on them and will stand strong against any imposed peace, emphasizing that the people will not surrender to any dictates.

The Iranian Supreme Leader asserted that the US President's recent threats were ridiculous and ineffective, and that Iranians have historically failed to respond to threats and pressure. He also emphasized his country's rejection of any peace imposed on it by force.

In a related development, Khamenei condemned the Israeli attack on Iran, stressing that Tel Aviv had committed a grave mistake and would face the consequences of its actions. Khamenei stated that Tel Aviv would be punished for its actions sooner or later, noting that Iran would neither forgive the violation of its airspace nor forget the blood of its martyrs.

This comes amid escalating tensions following direct US threats to assassinate Iran's Supreme Leader and Israeli calls for the Iranian people to overthrow the regime. Iran has also warned of a response to any US involvement in the recent attacks on Tehran.

In contrast, Iran's ambassador to the United Nations, Ali Bahreini, warned that his country would respond firmly if the United States was proven to be directly involved in the attacks targeting Tehran. Meanwhile, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that the international community cannot tolerate the repercussions of a large-scale war in the region, adding that Israel seeks to impose an endless war on the Middle East.

Separately, on the same day of the Israeli attack on Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu incited the Iranian people against their country's regime, describing it as "an opportunity to be eliminated," further escalating tensions in the region.

Since Friday, Israel, with US support, has launched an aggression against Iran, including bombing nuclear facilities and missile bases and assassinating military leaders and nuclear scientists. This has resulted in 224 deaths and 1,277 injuries. Tehran has responded with ballistic missiles and drones, leaving approximately 24 dead and hundreds injured.
