The Ministry of Communication and Digital supports cross-sector collaboration for the development of digital talent in the development of Subsea Connectivity in Indonesia.
Head of the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto, said that as an archipelagic country, the development and management of underwater connectivity is a very important component because it ensures connectivity between regions, both domestically and globally.
" Subsea Connectivity Ecosystem Development in Indonesia is not only about building the physical aspects, but also building the readiness of human resources," said Bonifasius in a press conference.
In the future, he said, not only will superior and generalist human resources be needed, but they will also become experts with specific technical expertise that is relevant in the field of submarine cable communication systems or SKKL.
Bonifasius said that in supporting the increasing talent in the digital field, unfortunately currently there are not many universities in Indonesia that have a special curriculum that supports Subsea Connectivity .
