List of countries that are potential opponents for Indonesia in the fourth round




 The Indonesian national team together with five other countries have confirmed that they will take part in the fourth round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifications in the Asian zone, after the third round of matches was completed from September 2024 to June 2025.

As reported on the official AFC website, the five countries are the United Arab Emirates and Qatar representing Group A, then Iraq and Oman from Group B, and Saudi Arabia from Group C.

According to reports from several sources, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are rumored to be hosting the fourth round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian zone, but there has been no official announcement from the AFC regarding this.

The fourth round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers for the Asian zone is scheduled to be held in October with a two-group system, where the top of each group will automatically qualify, while the two second-placed teams will meet each other to advance to the intercontinental play-offs and the group draw process will be held on July 17, 2025.
