Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid stated that the presence of digital infrastructure is the main prerequisite for the use of artificial intelligence ( AI ) technology.
Therefore, the Minister of Communication and Digital in the HIPMI x MVT Connect 2025 forum in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Monday, invited industry players to support the provision of internet access facilities in the Eastern Indonesia region.
"This is the basic capital for digitalization and then embracing or accepting artificial intelligence , without this AI would not be possible because we do not have connectivity," he said.
If connectivity across all regions is adequate, he said, AI technology can be used to provide solutions in various fields.
