Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid emphasized that state civil apparatus within the Ministry of Communication and Digital must be the main drivers of national digital transformation.
At the Inauguration of the Board of Directors of the Republic of Indonesia Civil Servant Corps (Korpri) of the Ministry of Communication and Digital in Jakarta, Tuesday, he stated that the inauguration of the Korpri management was a momentum to strengthen the commitment of ASN service in the digital era.
"This is where the Ministry of Communication and Digital also needs to be present not only as a regulator and facilitator but also as a driver of digital transformation to support the entire development agenda and especially the government's priority programs," he said.
Meutya explained the strategic role of the Ministry of Communication and Digital in facing the "information war", especially in protecting vulnerable groups such as children from the impact of the spread of negative information content.
To the newly inaugurated Korpri management at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, he advised them to strive to be role models in strengthening the core values of ASN and integrity in providing public services.
"Korpri is the face of ASN in front of the public, and for that reason every ASN service action must be based on a sense of love and also a sense of responsibility, not just mere administrative duties," he said.
"Don't let ASN be like a hard rock, insensitive, and lose the human side in public service," he added.
