Minister of Youth and Sports Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo ensured that Indonesia is ready if trusted to host the 2027 Sudirman Cup and the 2028 Thomas & Uber Cup.
"What is certain is that we have confirmed that we are interested and ready," said Dito in response.
The statement was made following a direct offer from the President of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, who was visiting Indonesia last weekend.
During the visit, Khunying reviewed a number of national sports facilities, including the Indonesia Arena in the Gelora Bung Karno area, Senayan.
