The Ministry of Communication and Digital stated that based on the interest gathering process for the auction of the 1.4 GHz frequency band, telecommunications industry players responded positively to the government's plan to immediately auction the frequency.
The interest screening process must be carried out by the government to telecommunications industry players in line with the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Number 6 of 2024 concerning Procedures for Selecting Radio Frequency Band Users.
"Of the ten organizers whose interest we asked, seven organizers expressed interest in participating in the 1.4 GHz band selection," said the Director General of Digital Infrastructure at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Wayan Toni Supriyanto.
