Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid said that her party is still testing the operational feasibility of the National Data Center (PDN) 1 before the digital infrastructure is officially operated.
"So basically we are currently in the operational preparation stage and of course this is together with BSSN. So when it is truly worthy of testing, has been stress tested and so on, then we will operate PDN 1," said Meutya when met at the Telecommunications Equipment Testing Center (BBPPT), Depok, Wednesday.
He explained that the government prioritizes caution in operating data center infrastructure because it is related to the security of public data.
Therefore, the Ministry of Communication and Digital together with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) are currently still assessing the security and reliability of the PDN 1 system.
