Sumsel United's operations use personal funds because they do not yet have sponsors

Sumsel United's operational costs are still using personal funds from the club's management because they have not yet obtained an official sponsor, said Sumsel United President Cik Ujang in Palembang.

"For the time being, there are no sponsors. We used to chip in together with the manager, director, and others for operational costs," said Cik Ujang.

Although there are no external sponsors yet, he said, the enthusiasm to develop Sumsel United has not diminished because the team's financing is carried out with a spirit of mutual cooperation.

"Alhamdulillah, we and our friends are still trying. Sponsors will definitely come if the team's performance is good. If the players are solid and the team has the potential to go to League 1, God willing, sponsors will come," he said.

Cik Ujang said that the club did not want to rely on sponsors too early because they were building the team's strength first before proposing cooperation with sponsors.

"If we're already whining here and there before we do anything, then sponsors will also think about it. But if we dare to spend our own money and prove our seriousness, others will definitely be interested in supporting us," he said.
