The Times: Israel did not inform Britain of its intention to strike Iran because it is not a reliable partner

The Times newspaper, citing a senior British government source, reported that Israel no longer considers the United Kingdom a reliable partner and therefore has not formally warned it of its plan to strike Iran.

It is noteworthy that the deterioration of relations between the two countries came against the backdrop of Britain imposing sanctions on two Israeli ministers.

The newspaper indicated that Britain is currently considering whether to close its diplomatic mission in Tehran.

The Israeli military launched a large-scale operation, dubbed "Rising Lion," against Iran early Friday morning, with the air force bombing military targets and Iranian nuclear program sites.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that Tehran was carrying out Operation "True Promise 3" in response to the Israeli strikes.
