Saudi Arabia condemned the Iranian attack on the US base in Qatar on Monday, considering it a "flagrant violation" of international law and the principles of good neighborliness.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a post on the X platform: "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns and denounces in the strongest terms the aggression launched by Iran against the sisterly state of Qatar, which constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and the principles of good neighborliness. It is unacceptable and cannot be justified under any circumstances."
In the same context, the UAE condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's targeting of Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, considering it a flagrant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace, and a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
In a statement issued Monday evening, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the UAE's full solidarity with Qatar and its unwavering support for all measures aimed at protecting the security and safety of its citizens and residents.
For its part, the Sultanate of Oman expressed its solidarity with Qatar on Monday following the Iranian attack on a US base in its territory, holding Israel responsible for the escalation.
In a statement, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed "the Sultanate of Oman's condemnation of the ongoing regional escalation caused by Israel's unlawful missile attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran and the ongoing exchange of missile attacks since then."
"Dangerous escalation"
In a related context, Kuwait condemned the Iranian attack on the US base in Qatar, considering it a "dangerous escalation that threatens stability" in the region.
In a statement issued Monday evening, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry affirmed "Qatar's right to respond directly in a manner commensurate with the magnitude of this blatant attack," while expressing its readiness to "utilize all its capabilities and energies to support the sisterly State of Qatar."
For its part, Jordan condemned the Iranian attack on the US Al Udeid base in Qatar on Monday evening, considering it a "dangerous escalation."
This came in a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which affirmed Jordan's "strong condemnation of the aggression launched by Iran against the sisterly State of Qatar," considering it a "flagrant violation of Qatar's sovereignty, international law, and the United Nations Charter, and a dangerous escalation."
In this context, Egypt affirmed its "full solidarity" with the State of Qatar and its support for it, following Iran's targeting of the American Al Udeid base.
In a statement issued Monday evening, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its "strong condemnation and denunciation" of the Iranian attacks on Qatar, expressing its grave concern over the "accelerating escalation" in the region.
"A blatant violation"
For its part, Palestine considered the Iranian missile attack on an American base a "blatant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar," according to the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA.
The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, in a statement, the missile attack that targeted Qatar's sovereignty and airspace by bombing the US Al Udeid base, describing it as a "blatant" attack.
The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned, in a statement, in the strongest terms the "blatant Iranian aggression" that targeted the State of Qatar in a blatant assault on its sovereignty and airspace.
Earlier this evening, Iranian state television announced the start of an Iranian military operation against the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
Iranian state television reported that several missiles struck the US base, and that their information indicated that "three missiles have hit Al Udeid base so far."
The US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar is one of the largest military bases in the Middle East, housing 8,000 US troops.
In addition to Al Udeid Air Base, the United States has approximately 40,000 troops at military bases in various parts of the Middle East.
On Sunday morning, the United States not only provided military, intelligence, and logistical support for the Israeli aggression against Iran, but also launched airstrikes on the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities.
Since June 13, Israel has targeted nuclear facilities, missile bases, military leaders, and nuclear scientists in Iran. Iran has responded by striking Israeli military and intelligence headquarters with ballistic missiles and drones, leaving casualties on both sides.
