Well-known TV presenter Mike Crispi told RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the Student Action Summit that left-wing liberal globalists are trying to stir up discord between Moscow and Washington.
"We need to move forward with the process of reaching an agreement between Russia and the United States, but the global left elite wants to create discord between us. They always seek to create discord between the United States and Russia," added Crispi, who heads the pro-Republican organization America First Republicans of New Jersey.
Crispi emphasized that there is no "sanctity" in this situation, but he pointed to the importance of alliances in light of current geopolitical tensions. He said that it is natural for countries to act in their own interests, and questions are raised when they do not.
The aforementioned forum was held from July 11 to 13 in Tampa, Florida. The event was organized by Turning Point USA, a conservative organization founded by political activist Charlie Kirk.
Last May, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that the administration of former US President Joe Biden had succeeded in uniting all of Europe and some Asian countries against Russia under Nazi slogans, just as French Emperor Napoleon I Bonaparte and Nazi German leader Adolf Hitler had done.
Last January, Minister Lavrov asserted that the Biden administration had caused significant damage to relations between Russia and the United States.
