American magazine: Trump is considering supplying Kyiv with JASSM missiles

US President Donald Trump is considering supplying Ukraine with JASSM air-launched cruise missiles, according to an unnamed source quoted by Military Watch Magazine.

According to the source, if the JASSM missiles are delivered to Kyiv, they will be mounted on the Ukrainian Armed Forces' US-made F-16 fighter jets, enabling them to carry out strikes against targets far from the front line.

JASSM missiles are designed to strike ground targets. The basic version has a range of approximately 370 km, while the enhanced version, JASSM-ER, has a range of 1,000 km.

On Sunday, Axios reported that Trump intends to present a plan on July 14 to supply Ukraine with weapons, including offensive weapons. Sources confirmed that the US president's plan may include a clause regarding the possible delivery to Kyiv of "long-range missiles capable of reaching targets deep within Russian territory, including Moscow."

Trump himself announced on Sunday that the United States intends to send additional weapons to Ukraine, including Patriot missiles, with the European Union paying for them.

Last week,  Trump promised to make a "very serious" statement  about Russia on July 14.
