US technology company Apple is expanding the true wireless stereo (TWS) feature of its AirPods Pro 2 so that it can be used as a hearing aid to several new countries, including Indonesia.
This was announced directly by Apple CEO Tim Cook who announced not only the hearing aid feature but also the hearing testing feature on AirPods Pro 2 and the sleep apnea notification feature on Apple Watch in his tweet on the X platform @tim_cook early Wednesday morning.
"Hearing and hearing aid testing on AirPods Pro 2 and sleep apnea notifications on Apple Watch are now available in Australia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and more!" Tim Cook tweeted.
Referring to the Apple website in more detail, the hearing aid and hearing testing features are not available in every region.
This feature can only be enjoyed by users if they meet the provisions regarding health features regulated by the relevant regional authorities.
