xAI fixes Grok 4 after sparking controversy over anti-Semitic remarks

Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company, xAI, said it has fixed a major issue that emerged after the launch of its latest large language model , Grok 4, last week.

Although the model is claimed to be able to outperform its competitors in a number of performance tests, Grok's behavior on the X platform has caused controversy, as reported by Tech Crunch on Wednesday.

Shortly after launch, Grok's account on X exhibited bizarre and offensive behavior. The model claimed its last name was "Hitler," posted anti-Semitic remarks, and frequently referenced Elon Musk's posts when answering controversial questions, seemingly siding with the xAI owner's views.

xAI immediately apologized for the incident and the company stated that it had resolved the two main issues.
