Amazon Web Services (AWS) today announced the launch of three new security services at the annual AWS re:Inforce event, a global cloud security conference that brings together experts, partners, and developers from around the world.
According to a statement received on Friday, these new services are aimed at strengthening organizations' digital security posture in an era of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, particularly in the context of adopting generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
As part of dozens of new features announced, these three key capabilities stand out as providing an integrated, proactive, and intelligent approach to detecting and responding to cyber threats:
The first service is AWS Security Hub, a control center for active threat detection, which serves as a unified control center that helps customers identify and prioritize the most pressing threats to their systems.
This service correlates various security and vulnerability signals from cloud systems, bringing them together into a single, easy-to-understand view.
