Apple CEO Tim Cook will reportedly oversee Apple's design team directly starting in late 2025 as the company integrates the operating system displays of its various devices with the Liquid Glass approach.
This news comes from a report by The Verge on Wednesday, which stated that this will start taking place after Apple COO Jeff Williams enters his retirement.
Currently, Apple's design team still reports to COO Jeff Williams. Upon the COO's retirement, Tim Cook will take over.
In terms of design, Apple is currently undergoing a major design transition for its software known as Liquid Glass, which will be launched on iPhones, iPads, Macs, and other devices later this year.
