Deputy Minister of Industry Faisol Riza said the government is currently launching a movement to bring industry into villages.
Faisol explained that one of the movements involved converting people's workshops into agricultural equipment production workshops.
"We've recorded around 48,000 workshops in rural areas. If they produce agricultural equipment, all agricultural needs can be met," Faisol said in a statement.
According to Faisol, this movement can also improve the quality of agricultural industrial production in the country if agricultural land owned by individuals and groups can be managed by the state.
