Cybersecurity firm Ensign InfoSecurity stated that the trend of state-sponsored cyberattacks will increase in the Asia Pacific region throughout 2024.
Adithya Nugraputra, Head of Consulting at Ensign InfoSecurity, explained that state-sponsored cyberattacks in the Asia Pacific region are driven by geopolitical conflicts. State-led cyberattacks are typically aimed at spying on other countries.
"This war has also led to the emergence of state-sponsored cyberattacks. These attacks could be for espionage or to support a particular country," Adithya said during the presentation of Ensign InfoSecurity's 2025 Cyber Threat Landscape
