Google announced that it has begun rolling out the latest model of Veo 3, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based video generator, to Gemini users in more than 159 countries.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Friday, the video creation feature using Veo 3 is only available to paid customers in the Google AI Pro package, with a maximum limit of three videos per day.
The model was first introduced last May and allows users to produce videos up to eight seconds long using only text prompts.
Google Product Director Josh Woodward also said that the company is developing advanced features in the form of the ability to convert images to video (image-to-video), which will later be integrated into the Gemini platform.
Veo 3 is an advanced version of Veo 2 and is claimed to have superior capabilities in producing high-quality cinematic videos. Through this technology, users can create short videos simply by giving text prompts, and the results already include dialogue, ambient sound effects, and background music.
