The Indonesian women's national baseball team has risen five spots to 11th in the world rankings, according to the latest World Baseball Softball Confederation ( WSBC ) rankings for the period up to mid-2025, released.
Indonesia earned an additional 160 points thanks to its top-place finish in the 2025 Women's Baseball Asia Cup Qualifiers last April. Indonesia climbed from 16th to 11th, sharing the same spot with India, which both had 269 points.
The five-place increase and 160 additional points make Indonesia the temporary top climber in the 2025 WBSC women's baseball world rankings, aka the team with the most improvement in ranking so far, followed by India (4 strips/139 points), Pakistan (3 strips/119 points), Sri Lanka (2 strips/78 points), and Thailand.
