The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, or Jokowi, is scheduled to attend the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Congress on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Solo, Central Java, and will also fill a discussion session with cadres.
"On the evening of July 19, Mr. Jokowi will lead a discussion session with his colleagues from the PSI, and it will be an open forum," said Andy Budiman, Chairman of the PSI Congress Steering Committee, in a statement received in Jakarta on Sunday.
According to Andy, this congress is important for PSI's journey because for the first time the candidate for general chairman of the PSI DPP was directly elected by party cadres through the General Election.
"In addition to the first time we are holding an open general election, we will also carry out rebranding (rebranding) of the party, refreshing the party. PSI will change its logo. What will the logo be? Wait for the 19th," he said.
