Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham is set to be out for a long time after undergoing left shoulder surgery in London.
"Bellingham will undergo a rehabilitation phase before returning to recovery training," Real Madrid said in a statement on their official website.
The operation was performed to address a recurring shoulder dislocation that has been bothering him since November 2023, when he suffered the injury in a match against Rayo Vallecano.
Although the club did not specify the exact duration of the absence, various sources, including Fabrizio Romano, reported that the 22-year-old is expected to be out for 10-12 weeks, with the target of returning to action in mid-October 2025.
Bellingham first suffered a shoulder injury in his debut season with Real Madrid, following his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2023.
