RB Leipzig has officially announced the signing of talented young Belgian striker Johan Bakayoko from Dutch League champions PSV Eindhoven.
"The 22-year-old striker arrives from Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven and has signed a long-term contract with Red Bull until June 30, 2030," RB Leipzig said in a statement on their website on Wednesday.
According to several reports, Bakayoko was bought for a total transfer fee of 22 million euros (Rp. 416 billion), including bonuses.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract and will wear the number 9 shirt at RB Leipzig.
Bakayoko, known for his pace, creativity, and goalscoring ability from the wing, impressed for PSV in the 2024/25 season, registering 12 goals and three assists in 47 appearances.
