KONI is now focusing on preparations for the 2025 National Sports Week (PON) Martial Arts.




 The Indonesian National Sports Committee has begun focusing on preparations for the 2025 National Martial Arts Games (PON) in Kudus, Central Java, after closing the KONI–Bayan Championship II/2025 at the Borneo FC Training Center Gelora Kadrie Oening Field, Samarinda, East Kalimantan.

"I appreciate and thank all parties for their support for Indonesian sports, enabling us to organize the KONI-Bayan Championship II/2025, which is the road to the National Sports Week (PON) in Kudus in October 2025," said KONI Chairman Marciano Norman in a written statement.

The tournament, which has been running since early July, featured karate, taekwondo, pencak silat, and youth soccer, and was attended by 6,515 athletes from various provinces.

Of that number, 1,800 participants took part in karate, 1,215 in taekwondo, 1,500 in pencak silat, and 2,000 in football.

In the closing ceremony, the final matches of the KU-10 and KU-12 football competitions were also held, both of which were won by the Nahusamfa club.
