Bayer Leverkusen has signed US national team midfielder Malik Tillman from Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven, the German club announced on its website.
The 23-year-old Nuremberg-born player signed a five-year contract until June 30, 2030.
"I want to win something. That was my goal in Glasgow, Eindhoven, and here," Tilmann told Leverkusen's website.
Tillman's arrival was warmly welcomed by Leverkusen officials, who admitted they were lucky to have secured a player they described as possessing extraordinary ability and being extremely dangerous in front of goal.
"He can play in midfield as a number 10 or number 8. Malik is a top signing for us," said Leverkusen's sporting director, Simon Rolfes.
