Microsoft is testing a new feature in Windows 11 that will help users optimize laptop battery life .
This feature is a new adaptive power saving mode and is tasked with immediately activating or deactivating power saving mode automatically based on the laptop's workload and not based on the remaining battery power.
As reported by The Verge,local time, the energy-saving mode in Windows 11 previously had the ability to dim screen brightness by 30 percent, disable transparency effects, and stop unused applications in the background.
