US contracts xAI for $200 million after Grok's "horrific behavior"

 The United States (US) government has taken a rather interesting step by announcing a new investment contract for the creator of the Grok chatbot, xAI, worth US$200 million to modernize the US Department of Defense.

This step is quite interesting because a week earlier, Grok had caused a stir in the form of a horrific incident in the form of displaying anti-Semitic and pro-Nazi rhetoric, causing the service to be temporarily suspended.

Quoting The Verge, Tuesday, it was not only xAI that received the contract, but also several other AI companies such as Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI.
