AS Roma officially announced that its mainstay goalkeeper, Mile Svilar, has officially extended his contract.
The announcement was made in an official club statement on Friday, ending speculation about the 25-year-old goalkeeper's future.
"AS Roma is pleased to announce that Mile Svilar has signed a new contract with the club until June 30, 2030," AS Roma said in a statement.
Svilar, who joined Roma in 2022, has emerged as a key player for the team. The 2024/25 season proved to be a testament to his brilliance, with 19 clean sheets (16 in Serie A and 3 in the Europa League), making him the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets in Europe's top five leagues in 2025.
For his brilliant performance, Svilar was named the Best Goalkeeper of the 2024/25 Serie A season by Lega Serie A.
