Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas said the extradition process for fugitive in the Investree case, former CEO of PT Investree Radika Jaya Adrian Asharyanto Gunadi, is currently in the process of fulfilling documents.
Supratman explained that on February 21, 2025, the Ministry of Law (Kemenkum), as the central authority in handling extradition, had received an extradition request from the Head of the International Relations Division of the National Police Headquarters (Mabes Polri), based on a request from the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
"The letter contains a request for extradition of Adrian Asharyanto, a suspect in a banking crime in Indonesia who fled to Qatar," Supratman confirmed.
He said the extradition request was intended to ensure Adrian underwent legal proceedings in Indonesia for the crime of collecting funds from the public without permission from Bank Indonesia and/or the financial sector authorities in the country.
