Nottingham Forest is reportedly considering legal action against Tottenham Hotspur following an alleged illegal approach in the transfer of their star midfielder, Morgan Gibbs-White.The £60 million transfer, which initially seemed imminent, is now in danger of being cancelled after Forest stopped communicating with Spurs.According to a Sky Sports report on Friday, Nottingham Forest objected to Tottenham's handling of the transfer process.Forest stated that Spurs never received permission to speak directly with Gibbs-White, which is considered a violation of transfer regulations.Furthermore, Forest also questioned how Tottenham knew the exact value of the £60 million release clause in Gibbs-White's contract, which is considered confidential information.Gibbs-White, who joined Forest from Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2022, has become a key player in the club's midfield.
