The OM System camera brand, formerly known as Olympus, has officially commenced operations in Indonesia, marked by the launch of the latest OM-5 Mark II camera, aimed at users who actively explore the outdoors, urban environments, and creative studios.
According to a press release received on Thursday, OM System has appointed PT Global Sukses Digital Tbk (DOSS) as its official distributor. Distribution and services for this brand will be handled by DOSS's subsidiary, PT Distribusi Selalu Sukses.
"With the updated photography technology, I am confident this new camera will be a new avenue for OM System," said Tahir Matulatan, Director of PT Distribusi Selalu Sukses.
The OM-5 Mark II features a compact body, weighing just 418 grams, including the battery and memory card. It measures approximately 125.3 x 85.2 x 52.0 mm and features a new grip designed for comfort and stability.
