Persik Kediri management recruited French striker Sylvain Atieda to increase the sharpness of the front line ahead of the 2025/2026 Liga 1 competition which will take place in August.
Persik Kediri team manager M Syahid Nur Ichsan explained that the decision to recruit Sylvain Atieda was based on the player's productivity while strengthening his previous club.
"The front line is one sector that needs to be strengthened further for next season. Sylvain's presence not only adds depth to the squad, but also the strength of the Persik Kediri squad," he said in Kediri.
He added that the presence of Sylvain Atieda also shows Persik Kediri's commitment to building a competitive and fresh squad to face the new season.
"Sylvain is expected to show his best performance with Persik Kediri and score the winning goal for the team," he said.
Sylvain Atieda is a player born on February 29, 1996. He previously played in the Luxembourg football competition with FC Rodange 91.
At the club, Sylvain Atieda became the main choice and played quite productively as a striker by recording 27 goals and nine assists from 42 matches.
