PPKGBK management apologized for the loudspeaker incident in which a woman's voice was heard sighing.
The incident occurred on Sunday in the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium area.
In the official information provided by PPKGBK, the sound heard was due to negligence on the part of the officer who played one of the copyright-free playlists.
"The results of an internal evaluation concluded that this incident stemmed from the negligence of officers who played a copyright-free playlist without conducting a thorough check," wrote the PPKGB, quoted from X, Sunday.
As a step in response to the incident, PPKGBK conducted an internal evaluation.
The first step is to issue a stern warning to the officer in charge. Then, all audio playlists will be reviewed, and only curated playlists will be allowed to be broadcast over the loudspeaker.
Then PPKGBK will strengthen the audio playback system and can only be accessed by verified personnel.
"We understand that GBK is a respected public space used by various groups in society, including children and families. We regret this incident and are committed to improving the quality of supervision and services across the board," wrote the PPKGBK.
