Anak Dewa raced to a 12-0 lead, and their defense prevented Rans' players from making 10 attempts in the first quarter. Rans only scored after 5:50 seconds of play through KJ Buffen.
The Rans' two additional points in the first quarter came a minute and a half later via Aaron Fuller's shot, and that was the only point they got in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, on Dewa United's side, Lester Prosper, Gelvis Solano, Jordan Adams, Joshua Ibarra, Hardianus, and Rio Disi bombarded the home team's basket with 23 points in the opening quarter.
