The Indonesian U-16 men's national volleyball team will begin their campaign in the 2025 Asian Men's U-16 Volleyball Championship by facing defending champion Iran in their first Group B match in Nakhom Pathom, Thailand.
According to the official AVC website, Thursday, besides Iran, Indonesia is also grouped with Kazakhstan and Hong Kong in Pool B.
After facing Iran, Indonesia is scheduled to meet Kazakhstan at 10.00 WIB and against Hong Kong.
The 2025 Asian U-16 Championship will feature 16 nations divided into four pools. Each team will compete in a round-robin format in the preliminary round, which will take place from July 12–14.
The top two teams from each pool will advance to the 1–8 ranking classification, while the bottom two teams will advance to the 9–16 ranking classification.
The qualifying round will be held on July 16–17 using a similar system. Results from meetings between teams from the same group in the preliminary round will be carried over to the qualifying round and will not be repeated.
The four best teams from classifications 1–8 (Pools E and F) will advance to the semifinals on July 18, and the final will take place on July 19.
The top three teams in this championship also have the opportunity to win tickets to the U-17 Volleyball World Championship in 2026.
