Cabinet Secretary: Prabowo summons ministers to discuss food and housing

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said that President Prabowo Subianto summoned several ministers to discuss a number of matters, ranging from the state of national food security to plans for the massive launch of subsidized housing.

Quoted from a post on the Cabinet Secretariat's Instagram account on Wednesday, Teddy explained that President Prabowo discussed the progress of the rice field printing program and the state of national food security with a number of ministers of the Red and White Cabinet at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He stated that the national rice stock currently stands at 4.2 million tons. With these reserves, the government ensures that the public's food needs will remain secure in the near future.

At the next meeting, President Prabowo received a report from the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani to discuss the development of Indonesia's strategic initiative regarding land ownership in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
