SKK Migas: Six oil and gas contractors have achieved lifting targets





The Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities reported that six of the 11 major Cooperation Contract Contractors in Indonesia have met the lifting targets set in the 2025 State Budget.

In a hearing with Commission XII of the Indonesian House of Representatives -- which oversees energy, environment, and investment, Head of SKK Migas Djoko Siswanto revealed that several KKKS that had exceeded their targets were BP Berau Ltd, ExxonMobil Cepu Ltd, Medco E&P Grissik Ltd, PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam, Eni East Sepinggan Ltd, and Husky-CNOOC Madura Ltd.

Djoko said that by May 2025, BP Berau Ltd had achieved 103.5 percent of the target, with a lifting realization of 304 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (mboepd).

ExxonMobil Cepu Ltd recorded 112 percent of the target, with a realization of 152 mboepd.

Medco E&P Grissik Ltd achieved 101 percent of the target, with the realization of 101 mboepd of the target set in the 2025 State Budget of 100 mboepd.

Then, PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam exceeded the target by 109.5 percent with the realization of 95 mboepd from the target of 87 mboepd. Eni East Sepinggan Ltd also met the target with the realization of 72 mboepd.

Lastly, Husky-CNOOC Madura Ltd achieved 102 percent of the target, with a realization of 42 mboepd.

Meanwhile, five other KKKS are still below the APBN target. The five KKKS are PT Pertamina EP, PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan, Petrcohina International Jabung, Medco E&P Natuna, and PC Ketapang II Ltd.

Overall, Djoko stated that the total oil and gas lifting from the 11 large KKKS plus the contribution of 379 mboepd from other KKKS had reached 96.6 percent of the national lifting.

Djoko further explained that by May 2025, oil lifting had reached 94 percent of the target.
