he claimed that the air force intercepted the two rockets after they crossed the border, following the activation of air raid sirens in the "Gaza Envelope" area.

The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that air raid sirens sounded in five settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip: Miftahim, Amuz, Yesha, Nir Yitzhak, and Bere Gan, following the detection of rocket fire.

No Palestinian group has claimed responsibility for the rocket fire from Gaza as of 18:20 GMT.

In a related development, the Israeli occupation army said it had detected another missile being launched from Yemen and was working to intercept it, without providing further details about the nature of the threat or the targeted location.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a war of genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

The genocide, backed by the United States, left approximately 191,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands were displaced, and a famine claimed the lives of many, including dozens of children.
