The occupation army assaults Palestinians during a raid on the West Bank, and settlers attack a village in Ramallah.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted local sources as saying that Israeli special forces infiltrated the town of Tammun, south of the city of Tubas, on Tuesday morning, followed by the arrival of military reinforcements.

The sources added that occupation forces were deployed in several neighborhoods of the town, amid low-flying reconnaissance aircraft. The operation is still ongoing.

On Monday evening, the Israeli occupation forces raided several areas in the Nablus Governorate in the northern West Bank, during which they assaulted a Palestinian citizen.

Wafa said, "Occupation soldiers stormed the entrance to the town of Beita (south of Nablus) and assaulted a citizen there."

She noted that the army stormed the village of Barqa, northwest of the city, and "fired live ammunition, which led to clashes with civilians."

She added that the army also stormed the village of Tal, southwest of Nablus, and set up a military checkpoint at its entrance, searching vehicles and checking citizens' IDs.

Eyewitnesses said that the raids also extended to the towns of Salem and Deir al-Hatab, south and southeast of Nablus.

Also in the northern West Bank, WAFA reported that the army stormed the town of Ramin, east of Tulkarm, and detained Palestinians and vehicles.

The agency reported that "the occupation forces stopped a number of citizens and began searching them and checking their ID cards, while this was accompanied by harassment and abuse of the residents and a clear obstruction of their daily movement."

In the southern West Bank, Palestine TV (government) reported that "clashes broke out with occupation forces in the town of Tuqu', east of Bethlehem."

settler attack

Meanwhile, local sources told WAFA that a group of settlers attacked the village of Beitin, east of Ramallah, on Tuesday morning. They set fire to two vehicles, spray-painted racist slogans on the outer wall of a house, and launched a drone into the village's sky.

In parallel with the annihilation of Gaza, the Israeli occupation army and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,001 Palestinians and the injury of approximately 7,000 others, according to Palestinian data.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a war of extermination in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

The genocide, with American support, left more than 200,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that claimed the lives of many.
