The occupation continues its raids on West Bank cities, and settlers attack Palestinians and their property.

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Haris, northwest of Salfit, on Tuesday evening, and detained a number of young men during the raid.

Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Anza in the Jenin governorate with several military vehicles, raiding and searching several homes and deploying soldiers on their roofs, according to WAFA. Sources reported that the raid was carried out using several military vehicles.

WAFA also reported that occupation forces stormed Al-Khader and took up positions in the Abu Sura neighborhood in the gate area on the main road (Jerusalem-Hebron), without any reports of house raids or arrests.

Israeli occupation forces also stormed the town of Beita and the village of Qaryut, south of Nablus. Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli military vehicles stormed the two towns, roamed their streets, and fired sound bombs and tear gas.

Demolition of buildings

In the same context, Israeli occupation forces continued their demolition of residential buildings in Tulkarm camp on Tuesday, coinciding with the 163rd consecutive day of their aggression against the camp and the city.

WAFA reported that Israeli bulldozers demolished a number of residential buildings in the Abu al-Foul neighborhood, following yesterday's demolition operations in the al-Murabba'a neighborhood, which was part of a new plan to demolish 104 buildings comprising 400 homes. At the same time, this was a continuation of the demolition operations carried out in recent days in several neighborhoods in the camp.

settler attacks

In a related development, settlers continued their attacks on residents of the village of Shallalat al-Auja, north of Jericho, on Tuesday, amid growing fears of attempts to forcefully displace the area's residents.

WAFA reported that settlers stormed the village and grazed their livestock among residents' homes, in a provocative move that sparked fear among the residents.

Hassan Malihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that the recurrence of these attacks could be a prelude to the forced displacement of communities in the Jordan Valley. He called on the international community to provide protection for the residents and take measures to halt these ongoing violations.

Several Palestinians were injured in an attack carried out by Israeli settlers, backed by the army, on the town of Sa'ir, northeast of the city of Hebron in the southern West Bank. The attack included the erection of a tent and a sheep pen, in preparation for the confiscation of thousands of dunams of the residents' land.

Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at Palestinians to protect the settlers, resulting in a number of injuries, including cases of suffocation and others from stone-throwing.

This comes as Israel, with full US support, has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 194,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands displaced.

In parallel with the genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of at least 991 Palestinians and the injury of approximately 7,000 others, according to Palestinian data.
