The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is expected to launch in January, is rumored to bring improvements to its camera, namely embedding a sensor from Sony with a resolution of 200 MP with a larger size than its predecessor.
According to the latest rumors, reported by GSM Arena on Monday, this flagship phone will be equipped with a new main camera sensor from Sony with a resolution of 200 MP and a size of 1/1.1 inches, making it the first 200 MP sensor from the Japanese company.
For comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra currently uses the Samsung ISOCELL HP2 sensor which also has a resolution of 200 MP, but is smaller in size, namely 1/1.3 inches.
With a larger size, this Sony-made sensor is believed to be able to capture more light and produce better image quality, especially in low-light conditions.
