Digital identity service provider VIDA has reaffirmed its commitment to preventing cybercrime amid the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
"In the current AI era, anyone can become a victim. Not just ordinary people, but also institutions, agencies, and even national leaders," said VIDA Group CEO Niki Luhur at a digital security forum.
According to Niki, Indonesians are increasingly vulnerable to various forms of increasingly sophisticated digital fraud, such as anonymous phone calls, phishing links in instant messaging apps, and fake documents created using sophisticated AI technology.
In fact, he said, human faces and voices can now be completely faked, making fraud detection even more difficult.
