Tijuana, December 23. Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda highlighted the progress of the Tarjeta Violeta program , which already benefits 75 percent of self-employed mothers in Baja California.

The president reported that during her administration, 100,000 women have received this support. The program not only offers an economic stimulus but also provides legal and judicial assistance and strengthens educational development.

"One of the most successful programs has been the Purple Card program, and by the way, last Friday, the deposit was advanced for all self-employed mothers," she commented.

The governor detailed that 11,000 single mothers have learned trades in workshops such as balloon twisting, nail art, party decoration, baking, fashion, and haircutting, among others. In addition, 3,700 women completed primary or secondary school, while 800 more are currently pursuing higher education or technical studies.
