Indonesian men's singles player Alwi Farhan will face third seed Kunlavut Vitidsarn from Thailand in the round of 16 of the 2025 BWF World Championships at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France.
The 20-year-old badminton player secured her ticket to the third round after defeating Taiwan's 12th seed, Lin Chun Yi, with a score of 21-17, 22-20 in the match early Thursday morning WIB.
"Thank God, I'm very grateful for today's victory. Since morning, I've been preparing a strategy with my coach, staying focused, and of course, thanks to everyone's prayers and support," Alwi said in an official statement from the Indonesian Football Association (PP PBSI).
