In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry considered the UN-backed Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) report and the statements made by UN Secretary-General António Guterres in reference to it to once again expose the Israeli occupation's practices against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry stressed that what emboldens Israel and makes it "more daring" is its continued impunity for the "war crimes and serious violations of international law" it has committed to date.
She stressed that achieving a permanent ceasefire, ensuring that those responsible are held accountable before the courts, and keeping humanitarian aid corridors open continuously represent "the most basic obligations imposed by international law and humanitarian law."
The statement concluded by affirming that Türkiye will continue its unwavering support for the "just struggle of the Palestinian people without any concessions."
