Rosarito Beach, January 21. The Citizen Security and Civil Protection Commission of the Baja California Congress held the fifth Open Parliament forum in Rosarito Beach, where 15 initiatives aimed at developing legislative strategies on security were received.
The previous meetings took place in Tijuana, Mexicali, Ensenada, and Tecate, where a total of 80 initiatives were presented.
"With this, there are now 95 initiatives across Baja California. I believe we'll reach over 100 by the time we complete the forums in the municipalities of San Felipe and San Quintín," said Jorge Ramos Hernández, local representative and commission president .
The municipal president of Playas de Rosarito, Rocío Adame, took advantage of the opportunity to present a reform initiative to the School Safety Law, focused on preventing and eradicating bullying in schools.
The next forums will be held in San Quintín on Tuesday, January 28, and in San Felipe on February 4, completing the tour of the seven municipalities of Baja California.
