A man was killed and an 18-year-old man was injured in an armed attack reported early Saturday morning, January 20, inside the "Factory" bar, located on Avenida Revolución, between Sixth and Seventh Streets in the Downtown area.
The 18-year-old said he was dancing inside the "Factory" bar—located in Tijuana's tourist and nightlife district—when he was shot in the right leg, which he realized, he says, because he began to "feel hot."
People at the nightclub began running away when they heard gunshots, which alerted police in this tourist area of the city, who arrived at the establishment and found a dead man just outside the bar.
Red Cross paramedics pronounced the man, who was heavily built and wearing dark clothing, dead, while the 18-year-old man who was shot in the leg was taken to a hospital for medical attention.
