Mexicali, April 7. Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda highlighted the elevation to constitutional status of the issuance of the Violet Card to single mothers.
The state leader noted that the approval by the Baja California Congress reflects the commitment to ensuring the continuity and strengthening of the program in future state administrations.
"The Violet Card, elevated to constitutional status, has ceased to be a program and has become a right in Baja California," he said.
Currently, the state government provides support to women in vulnerable situations or facing violence, granting 2,600 pesos every two months .
