Banten Police deploy 313 personnel to secure Super League at BIS

A total of 313 joint personnel from the Banten Regional Police were deployed to secure the 2025/2026 BRI Super League match between Dewa United Banten FC and Malut United at the Banten International Stadium (BIS), Serang.

Serang City Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Yudha Satria, said that security was being carried out comprehensively, starting from the entrance, spectator routes, to the parking area.

"Every potential vulnerability must be anticipated. There is no room for rule violations or actions that disrupt the flow of the match," he said.

He emphasized that all personnel are required to work responsibly, prioritize humane behavior, and refrain from carrying firearms or sharp weapons. This measure was taken to maintain a safe and conducive atmosphere during the match.

Security, Yudha said, has been carefully planned, prioritizing professionalism, synergy, and a humanistic approach. "We want this match to be safe, orderly, and provide positive entertainment for the public," he added.

He also urged officials to check spectators and supporters to ensure no prohibited items are entering the stadium. Spectators are asked to carry identification, maintain sportsmanship, and comply with the instructions of officials on the field.

The Banten Regional Police emphasized that securing large-scale sporting events like this is part of efforts to maintain public order while also providing a sense of security for residents who come to watch live at the stadium.
